When people look at the Church and see only impostors, they conclude that Jesus is an impostor. But when they see followers of Jesus who are real, they see a Jesus who is real.
That's a tough question because at the core a christian is to deny his or her fundamental nature (sin) and to seek holiness which is unattainable. In that respect, we are all faking it because we are aspiring to something that we can never achieve. I believe this is the heart of the problem with the church.
However, we can be honest about our failures to deny and seek. We can be honest about our desires. We can be honest about our fears and hopes.
So, who is real? I guess the answer is those who are honest.

You and I Dorsey, we're the only real ones.
